On these pages you will find monthly reports and up to date notes on current issues as they are being dealt with.

We Need Your Input To Be Effective

We on your Grey Power Committee are only as effective as the information we have to hand.

Consequently we have to know what is going on out there. If you have any concern, opinions or just want to put in your two pennies worth we would like to know.

The Federation AGM is held every year and topics under review are many and varied. So are the problems. We need community feedback to know which path to pursue vigorously.

Currently it is Local Body Rates, Health, Electricity and Law and Order.

We have regular Zone Meetings where all Associations from West Coast, Nelson and Marlborough get together to air problems faced by their communities.

Affordability of Rates and electricity for Superannuitants are both major problems. The costs of both are escalating out of control.
